Canada-friendly basics

Privacy

This is a static marketing and editorial site. We try to collect as little as a publication can. This page is a plain-language notice, not a law-firm privacy policy and not legal advice.

Who we are

Stack Scorecard is operated from Canada. Contact: [email protected]. Hosting may be provided by Cloudflare Pages or Vercel, which means request logs can be processed outside Canada by those providers.

What we collect

Email

Email you send us

If you write to [email protected], we keep the correspondence long enough to reply and, if needed, correct a page. We do not add you to a marketing list.

Logs

Server and CDN logs

Our host may record IP address, user agent, referrer, and timestamps to operate the site and absorb abuse.

Analytics

Google Analytics 4

We load gtag.js (measurement ID G-YNVK66RKCE) to count page views. Google may set cookies and process usage data, including from servers outside Canada. We do not use GA for ads remarketing.

Accounts

No account

Reading the site does not require a login. Aside from GA as described above, we do not embed a marketing pixel.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not run retargeting ads.
  • We do not require an account to read the site.
  • We do not use your email for commercial electronic messages under CASL.

Outbound services

Links to Make, n8n, Zapier, Notion, Airtable, Coda, and other vendors leave this site. Their privacy practices are theirs. Make register links use partner code pc=stackscorecard (affiliate). Other product links carry UTM parameters only so we can see which scorecard referred a visit.

We may earn commissions on marked Make Partner links. Rankings are not sold. n8n, Zapier, Notion, Coda, and Airtable programmes are not enrolled. See Affiliate disclosure and Disclosures. Questions: [email protected].

Your requests

If you want a copy of email you sent us, or want it deleted, write to [email protected]. We will handle requests in line with Canadian privacy expectations (including PIPEDA for commercial activity, and Quebec Law 25 where it applies). Hosting logs are controlled by the host; we will say so if we cannot reach them.

Children. This site is written for adult operators. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
